Chapter 4: Water Park Adversity; Part 1

Jenni and her friends walked off the bus, at the park. The five girls were easily the most stylish out of the whole school, and yet, they felt out of place. Any longer, and the five felt like they might run screaming away, as they didn't have much experience in this department.

Jenni sighed, then courageously walked into the park, her friends following her closely, like scared baby pups following the mother dog. The blond was definitely the leader of this group.

Aimee looked around, and started to smile, as did the other girls. It looked so cool! The rides, the screaming coming from them-screams of pleasure from the fun of the ride-and the girls were entranced.

Harmony smiled at her sister, and the twins took off, leaving the other three. Jenni smiled, then walked over to the food booths, ready to fill her stomach up until she was sick.

Aimee looked at the blond's retreating figure, then headed over to the Ferris Wheel. Cameron gulped, then headed over to the Haunted House.

An hour later, a crash sounded from where the bus had parked. The snake woman had returned, and was in a human disguise, so she could pose as one and not freak anyone out. Also, she wanted to be able to find the girl, Moon, and take the necklace, then find the other four.

Jenni had been walking back to the bus, but the sound stopped her. The crash had sounded more like an explosion. She ran towards the parking lot, and saw the bus in flames, and a woman standing next to it. Suddenly, the woman flickered and she turned into Dracana!

Jenni had a feeling this trip was about to get interesting.

Chapter 3: Hmmm...

The next day, Jenni and her friends were going to a water park on a school field trip. The five girls were so excited. Jenni was dressed in a light blue sundress, with the same color flip-flops. Aimee, her best friend out the other four, had on a dark blue tank-top, with jean shorts and sneakers. Hope and Harmony, the two twins who were only able to be told apart by the lengths of their red hair, were wearing the same outfit: a sleeveless pink shirt, with a white tennis skirt and hot pink wedges. Cammie had on just a white T-shirt, with a red skirt and red flip-flops.

These five friends were decked out for just a school trip, but that was because they liked to go all out.

Harmony smiled at Jenni, her long red hair shining in the sun. "I can't wait for this trip to start! I also can't believe that we have to go on a school-bus just to get there. Gross!" she exclaimed, for she hated things that 'normal' people used: meaning the people who didn't have enough money to go to a private academy.

Jenni sighed, shaking her head at her friend's antics. "Whatever, Harmony. Hope! I wish that your sister was more... Um, well..."

"Tuned into others feelings?" Hope finished for the blond, even though her eyes never looked away from the book that was possibly stuck to her hands. Jenni nodded quickly, then looked at her watch.

"Oh no!" she cried, all of the other girls looking at her in surprise, even Hope. "We're going to be late. The bus will be here in three minutes!" she explained, then turned and ran.

That whole time, Jenni didn't even notice that all of her friends had on chokers like hers.

Chapter 2: Dreams

Moon gasped in surprise, as she didn't know what had happened to her. One minute, she was Jenni, staring at a snake woman. The next, she was a Code of Justice?

"W-what? Thisss isss not what Massster sssaid would happen!" the snake woman cried out, enraged.

"Huh?" Moon asked, confused. She was really scared, but acted calm. The choker had stayed on throughout the whole transformation, but the charm was now engraved with an intricate carving, made out of swirls.

"Massster sssaid that the necklaccce wasss oursss. That it would come over to me peacccefully," she said, then stopped. Continueing, "I am Dracana, Ssservent of Massster Pierre and Misssssstresss Jinx."

Moon's body froze, looking into Dracana's eyes. They were like molten, golden fire. Flames seemed tp dance in them.

Dracana laughed, no humor in it, just evil. "Well, little girl. Have you had enough pain? Give me the necklaccce!" she screeched out the last part, making Moon snap out of her daze and back to attention. Just in time to, because Dracana was coming at her.

"No!" she yelled, holding her hands out. A burst of pure white light flashed out of my hands, and I looked to see her against a tree, struggling to get up.

"Very well. Thisss will not pleassse Massster," she said, and dissapeared in a puff of green smoke.

Moon suddenly turned back into Jenni, and her now blue eyes blinked once, twice, then she ran back to her dorm room.

When she got there, Jenni was exahsted. The blond hurried up and changed into her light yellow nightgown, and went to sleep.

:Dream:

A woman with long blond hair, pale grey eyes, and large black wings that were all radiating rainbows was standing before Jenni in her dream.

"Isis," Jenni said automatically. She didn't even know how she knew that was the woman's name, or why she had said it.

The woman smiled, "Yes, child. I am Isis of the Code World. The world that all codes come from, alond with your necklace."

"Really?" Jenni asked, "Why is this happening?" She was so confused and frightened.

"Child," Isis began, "You are a Code of Justice, a protector of the codes of the worlds, and of the worlds themselves. You have four more Codes to find: Serene, Code of the Sea and Water; Sunrise and Sunset, Twin Codes of the Sun and Hope; and Gaea, Code of the Earth and Growth. You are Moon, Code of the Moon and Light."

It took Jenni a while to process this information. "Also, the is a fifth. She has a dark heart right now, for her power overwhelmed her; Starry Black, Code of the Darkness and Space.

You two, Moon and Shining Black were sisters in your past life. You two were chosen to be the Yin, you, and the Yang, her, of the Codes. Be on the lookout for her, please. Please..." she said, and started fading.

When she was gone, Jenni woke up in a cold sweat, gasping.

The blond sighed. What did that dream mean? And who were her allies?

Chapter 1: Under the Moon

Jenni fingered the silver moon charm of her choker. She had found it in her cherry-wood jewelry box yesterday, and had been wearing it since, only taking it off for showers. The exquisite, white lace strip that was surrounded by lavender colored silk ribbons, with the crescent moon carved out of silver dangling gracefully and resting in the hollow of her neck was gorgeous.

Her blond hair hung limply by her face, shoulders, and waist. Although, she was about to curl it into tight, little ringlets. The curler just had to warm up.

A few minutes later, her hair was curled. The caramel low-lights glinted in the sunlight streaming through her bay window. The ringlets made her hair shorter, as is used to be to her waist, but was now above mid-back.

Her school was a private academy, called Gem Academy. The girls' uniform was a white button-up blouse, with a mint green blazer and tie. Her skirt was baby blue, knee-length, and pleated. The blazer held the academy's crest; a white diamond with gold embroidery. It also had letters, which were a mint green G and a baby blue A, a golden dot after each.

Certain shoes were required for each season and gender. Since it was spring, and Jenni was a girl, she had to wear mint green and baby blue peep-toe wedges.

Jenni grabbed her white purse and white book bag, and set out. She was going to the Middle School Wing of Gem Academy, as that was her school.

The day over, Jenni was in her dorm room, 101, when she had the notion to go shopping. The blond changed into white skinny jeans, with light pink ballet flats, a white camisole with pink butterflies sown into it, and a light pink jacket.

She walked outside and to the campus store-which was more like a mall-and went inside, looking to see if she had gotten the strange necklace here. By the time Jenni was done scouring the whole shopping center, it was night and a crescent moon was hanging in the sky, glowing peacefully.

But, glowing gold eyes were watching Jenni, or, more specifically, her necklace. "Mussst get the necklaccce for Massster," it said, sounding like a snake would in human form, if it had one. In fact, the person was a female snake person, called a dracaenae.

The glowing eyes disappeared into the shadows, leaving only an eerie feeling behind.

Jenni looked up at the moon, noticing the uncanny resemblance to her charm. A sound like a snake hissing came from behind her, causing the girl to turn around. She gasped at the sight before her.

It was a woman with green, scaly skin, and glowing eyes that were a golden color. Her tongue flicked out, and Jenni saw that it was forked. The silver charm on her necklace felt hot against her skin, and she looked down to see that it was glowing a white color, and the regular moon was corresponding to the glow.

Jenni gasped as a silver colored light, with a lavender tint surrounded her. Words came to her mouth, and unable to control herself, Jenni blurted them out.

"Codes of Justice! #1: Code of the Moon!" She closed her blue eyes and her hair turned white, with lavender and silver high-lights. White boots with lavender heels and laces encased her feet and thighs, up to her knees. Silver shorts with a white belt that had lavender sparkles in it were under a white shirt, with silver bell sleeves.

Her right hand had a silver fishnet glove, with no fingers, while the left had a lavender one. She opened her eyes, and they were an amethyst color. Her hair turned itself into two pigtails.

Under the moon, the light faded and who stood there was an entirely different person from Jenni. "I am Moon, Code of Justice #1!"

Prolouge

She ran, ran until she reached the edge of the cliff. The Code World was being destroyed, and Isis could do nothing about it. She held six necklaces; five in her left hand, one in her right.
Her blond hair was glinting rainbows in the sunlight, and she spread her wings. Her wings were black and also glinting rainbows, like an oil spill. She dropped the necklaces into the Sea of Soul and dove after it. She knew that to save her world, she must leave it.
